  • 4 tablespoons (56g) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

  2. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth or brush and slice them if large.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are browned and tender, about 8-10 minutes. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary to ensure proper browning.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  7. Continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  8. Stir in the chopped fresh parsley.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  10. Serve immediately.
